Office 365 is the brand name Microsoft uses for a group of subscriptions that provide productivity software and related services. The Office 365 plans that are online-only are a great choice for certain business needs. “Office 365” refers to subscription plans that include access to Office applications plus other productivity services that are enabled over the Internet (cloud services) any time and anyplace. Office 365 includes plans for use at home and for business.
Business and enterprise-oriented plans for Office 365 offer access to cloud-hosted versions of Office’s server platforms on a software-as-a-service basis, including Exchange, Skype for Business, SharePoint, and the browser-based Office Web Apps suite  Through SharePoint’s OneDrive for Business functionality (formerly known as SharePoint MySites and SkyDrive Pro, and distinct from the consumer-oriented OneDrive service).
